Como siempre, os dejo primero las soluciones a los ejercicios que os mandé el lunes:
Page 10 nº1
a) Model answer: it tells us that Spain has an ageing population and that the birth rate is lower now than it was in the past. It also tells us that women have a longer life expectancy than men. The biggest age group is 30-49 years old.
b) Spain’s population has grown in the last 100 years thanks to better nutrition and healthcare. The population grew significantly between 2000 and 2010 because of immigration.
c) It includes all the people who are working or looking for work.

a) how the population is distributed by both age and gender.
b) younger than it is now.
c) growing because there is a positive net migration but it is also increasingly an ageing population. d) the birth rate is lower than it was in the past and life.

a) 1 – 0-9 2 – 50-59 3 – 80-89
b) Graph 3 because older people are the biggest age group and the birth rate is low.
